Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة) (born 21 October 1969) is the Crown Prince and the Undersecretary of Defence of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He went to the Bahrain School in Bahrain, followed by higher studies abroad. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in political science in 1992 from the American University in Washington D.C., in the United States. He also obtained a Master's degree in history and philosophy from Cambridge University in 1994.

Shaikh Salman was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Studies and Research (BCSR) in 1995. That same year, he was also appointed Defence Under-Secretary. He speaks Arabic and English fluently.

Shaikh Salman funds two special programs that help develop the young people of Bahrain.
