Saliceto, Haute-Corse

Saliceto is a small village in the Castagnicca valley near the town of Corte on Corsica. The village was the birthplace of Christophe Saliceti. The village consists of about two dozen stonewall houses and a small catholic church.

The village is considered the outspring of the Salicath family, which is spread around a major part of Europa.
