Salawat Yulayev

Salawat Yulayev (Bashkir: Салауат Юлаев; Russian: Салават Юлаев; c. 1754 — 26 September 1800) is a Bashkir national hero who participated at Pugachev's rebellion. He is also famous as a poet.
Many things in modern-day Bashkortostan are named after Yulayev including a town, a hockey team and the republic's State Prize.
