Sala Bolognese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 15 km northwest of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,082 and an area of 45.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Sala Bolognese contains the frazione (subdivision) Osteria Nuova.
