I wonder whether Alexandria is correct. In the context of that sentence Alessandria seems somewhat more likely.

- You may be correct. My sources were old (1950's for Omelbert) and older (18th c. for Alban Butler), and it is more than likely that either an editorial error (Omelbert) or archaism (Butler) crept in. Please feel free to make the change, as you are correct that the geography supports you. Geogre 13:05, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
