Sairaj Bahutule pronunciation  (born January 6, 1973 in Bombay - now Mumbai) is an Indian cricketer. An allrounder who specializes in leg spin bowling, Bahutule plied his trade learning from the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli, two fellow players who played against him in one school cricket match and hit a 664-run partnership.

Standout performances, including a 13-wicket match in the Irani Trophy led him to be called into the Indian team in 1997. Three years later, an injury to Anil Kumble enabled him to be called up for a Test match against Australia, but he found himself struggling against players of such calibre.

In the future it may be possible for him that in List A cricket and First-class cricket he does end up being chosen as the primary leg-spinner, as, away from the pressure of the big occasion, he performs well.
