Saintfield High School

Saintfield High School is a school in Saintfield, County Down, Northern Ireland that teaches compulsory education up to GCSE level. It was established in the 1958, and has about 350 students.
A total of eight subjects are studied at GCSE level. All students must study English, Mathematics, Religious Studies and French, and choose to attempt either Double Award Science, which is worth two GCSE grades, or Single Award Science, which is worth only one. If a student chooses the latter, he will get to study an extra GCSE subject. Students get to choose three choice subjects if studying Single Award Science, or two if studying Double Award Science. These choice subjects are History, English Literature, Geography, Technology and Design, Art and Design, Home Economics, ICT, Business Studies and Physical Education.
