Saint Sithney

Saint Sithney is the patron saint of mad dogs. His feast day is August 4.

Legend says that God asked Sithney to be the patron saint of girls seeking husbands, but Sithney said he would rather be the patron saint of mad dogs and get some rest. His patronages are against rabies, hydrophobia, mad dogs and Sithney, Cornwall, England.

Alternate name: Saint Sezni.
