Saint-Galmier

Saint-Galmier is a French commune in the Loire departement. There are currently some 5500 inhabitants, who are referred to as 'Baldomériens' in French.

  1. Gilbert Bostsarron, a member of the French Resistance was born here.
  2. Roger Rivière, a professional cyclist, who was born in Saint-Etienne in 1936, died here in 1976.
