Saint-Étienne-du-Mont

Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is a church in Paris, located on the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève in the Ve arrondissement, near the Panthéon. It contains the shrine of St. Geneviève's remains, the patron saint of Paris. This church also contains the tombs of Blaise Pascal and Jean Racine.

- 6th century - first chapel was formed from St. Geneviève Abbey crypt
- 13th century - separate church built on the north side of chapel
- 1491 - bell tower were built
- 1537 - chancel were built
- 1545 - gallery were built (see image of church interior)
- 1580 - vaults of the nave and the transept were built
- 1624 - bell tower were raised
- 1807 - demolition of the Abbey church
