[edit] Plot summary

Prince Endymion appears before Reika in Africa, and captures her inside the black crystal. He reveals that his mission is to capture all of the seven great youma, and now he is only missing three. Urawa phones Ami, and she turns on the news at his request. Another of the seven great youma has been kidnapped, leaving two. Urawa tells her that he will be the next to be captured. Ami offers to protect him, but Urawa declines and tells her to protect Rei's grandfather. After they hang up, Urawa talks to himself about how he can't let himself depend on Ami.

Queen Beryl has ordered Prince Endymion to rally all the previous owners of the rainbow crystals in order to combine their powers and ultimately destroy the Sailor Soldiers. Soon enough, Endymion finds Urawa but he manages to escape, shouting "Murderer!" at the top of his lungs. Ami and Makoto talk about how even though they are Sailor Senshi, they can date and have boyfriends too. Makoto says that she thinks Ami is scared of love. Endymion corners Urawa again, and Ami and Makoto transform and go to rescue Urawa. Sailor Jupiter challenges Endymion to a fight while Mercury tries to get Urawa to safety. Endymion holds his own against Jupiter and manages to catch up to Mercury and Urawa and he captures Urawa.

Sailor Mercury doesn’t give in to despair and is able to steal the black crystal in which all the rainbow crystal carriers are trapped. She sets them free and Sailor Moon and the other Senshi arrive. By using Moon Healing Escalation, Sailor Moon is able to heal Tuxedo Kamen back to their side, but Queen Beryl quickly recaptures him. She promises the Sailor Senshi that she will make him a more faithful servant of the Dark Kingdom than before. Sailor Moon vows not to give up on Tuxedo Kamen. Later, Urawa and Ami go on a date.[1]

[edit] English-language dub

  • Amy's last name is established as "Anderson" - Ami says "Mizuno residence" when answering the telephone. In the dubbed version, she answers with "Anderson residence."

In this episode's "Sailor Says" segment, Sailor Moon talks about how, for a minute, she had the old Tuxedo Mask back again. She and the other Sailor Scouts encourage her fans not to give up, and not to let "roadblocks stop you from getting your dreams."[2]
