One day, Usagi and Makoto’s hearts are broken when they find out that Motoki, Usagi’s friend at the arcade, has a girlfriend. Nevertheless, the two volunteer to come over to his apartment and teach him how to cook and clean. Meanwhile, Motoki’s girlfriend has some bad news for him. She has been accepted to go study abroad in Africa. Motoki decides that he will wait until she returns and not give up on their relationship. Zoisite however, has other plans. Rika, is actually the next rainbow crystal bearer and the two are attacked on the way home one day. Luna warns the two girls and they come to their rescue. Zoisite successfully takes the rainbow crystal and Rika turns into a yoma. After a lengthy battle, Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter are able to defeat her and turn her back into a human. Despite all their efforts, the couple remains close and Usagi and Makoto must find their next crush elsewhere.
