One day, Usagi, Naru and Umino go to an art show and come upon some very beautiful paintings. Little do they know that the artist is right behind them listening in on their conversation. She exits the room and bumps into Mamoru who is walking outside. She suddenly grabs onto his arm and asks him to model for him. When Usagi comes outside to investigate, she too is grabbed and asked the same question. The two unwillingly accept and are taken to the artist’s house and sit for her to paint them. She tells them that she gets her inspiration from her dreams. Usagi realizes that she is the artist and wonders why she doesn’t come out into the open. Meanwhile, Zoisite’s black crystal points the artist as the next yoma and he attacks her the following day. Usagi and the girls show up and so does Tuxedo Kamen, but Zoisite manages to keep the rainbow crystal and disappears. Sailor Moon offers the star locket back to Tuxedo Kamen, but he asks her to keep it for now. She also asks him for his rainbow crystal but he refuses. Sailor Moon begins to unwillingly doubt his intentions. Finally, she is able to transform the yoma back into the artist. The next day, she displays not only the painting of Usagi and Mamoru but also her self-portrait.
