The girls are at the shrine discussing the Moon Stick. Luna reveals that it’s a symbol of leadership and Rei believes she should have it and not Usagi. Luna decides to give Usagi a chance. She goes on to explain that the rainbow crystals will eventually form the silver crystal, which will reveal who the moon princess is. She warns them not to let the crystals fall into the wrong hands. It’s been a few weeks since Nephrite died and yet Naru hasn’t been to school. Usagi worries and makes a visit with Umino to try to cheer up her best friend. They decide to go out but they soon stop by a cemetery and Naru is reminded of her sorrows. In the meantime, Zoisite has found another human that possesses a rainbow crystal. It so happens that the priest at the cemetery is actually a yoma. When his crystal appears, Tuxedo Kamen catches it and leaves, making Zoisite very angry. Sailor Moon transforms and confronts the monster and just when all seems bleak, Sailor Jupiter appears to help her. During the fight, Sailor Moon notices a locket in the shape of a star, which Tuxedo Kamen left behind. She keeps it and turns the yoma back into a human with the Moon Stick. Back in another part of town, Tuxedo Kamen turns back into Mamoru who is now suddenly quite aware of his alter ego.
