Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid (守れ恋の曲! うさぎはキューピッド Mamore Koi no MERODEI! Usagi wa KYUUPIDDO) was the sixth episode of the Bishouju Senshi Sailor Moon anime.
This episode was never dubbed by DiC due to unknown reasons.
[edit] Plot summary
While at Naru's house, Usagi listens to a CD by a famous piano player and composer, Yuusuke Amade. What she doesn't know is that Jadeite has persuaded Queen Beryl to infiltrate the composer's studio with negative energy that will destroy human life. A youma, Cyrene, is sent to play an infected video tape in the studio, so that any music recorded in the studio would drain the energy of the listener.
Accidentally, Yuusuke Amade's demo tape gets switched with the infected tape and the youma is forced to track him down to recover the infected tape. During a confrontation, Yuusuke bumps into Usagi and tells her everything. Usagi and Luna decide to keep an eye on Yuusuke and sure enough, he soon finds himself hunted by the monster. Yuusuke goes to perform in a nightclub and Usagi uses the Disguise Pen to transform into a cool musician in order to follow him. Having failed to steal the tape, the youma captures the man's love interest and forces a showdown. Usagi manages to destroy the tape and save the woman. As soon as everyone is safe, she transforms into Sailor Moon and kills the youma by reflecting her attack.
