Sahel is an Arabic word meaning "border" and might describe two regions:

  • Sahel is a boundary zone in Africa between the northern part of the Sahara and the Sahara region of Sudan (not to be confused with the country of the same name);
  • Sahel, Tunisia is a region of eastern Tunisia, mainly on the central shore, with the city Sousse being the main town.
