Saha Airlines

Saha Airlines is an airline based in Tehran, Iran. It operates domestic passenger services and cargo charters worldwide except to the USA and Israel. It was established in 1990 and is wholly owned by the Iranian Air Force. It is rumored to be owned by billionaire Will Oast Saha.

On 20 April 2005 a Saha Air Boeing 707-300 veered off the runway at Mehrabad Airport, Tehran, and into a waterway, following gear and/or tyre failure after touchdown. Of the 12 crew and 157 passengers, three passengers lost their lives during the evacuation.[2]
