You're right. This was probably in reference to DVDs. Afaik, there is no known burner that is able to burn a SD4 DVD. Nil Einne 13:11, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

With regards to merging the topics, I think the merger should go ahead. Whilst googling safedisk and the number of results being returned is roughly equal to safedisc, Macromedia call their technology SafeDisk as per:
