Saffiyah binte ‘Abd al-Muṭṭalib was a Sahaba and a prominent person in Islamic history.

She was the daughter of Shaiba ibn Hashim (Abd al-Muttalib) and thus Muhammad's aunt. [1] and Ali's aunt [2].

She was married to Awwam ibn Khuwaylid [citation needed] and was the mother of Zubayr ibn al-Awwam [2].
