Saeki District, Hiroshima

Saeki (佐伯郡; -gun) is a district located in Hiroshima, Japan.

As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 54,592 and a density of 163.07 persons per km². The total area is 334.77 km².

• On November 1, 2004, the former towns of Nomi, Ogaki, and Okimi merged with the town of Etajima from Aki District forming the city of Etajima.
• On April 25, 2005, the town of Yuki merged into Saeki-ku, Hirosima.
• On November 3, 2005, the Miyajima and Ono merged into the city of Hatsukaichi, at which point the district will officially cease to exist.
