From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saeed Hotari (1980 - 2001) was a Palestinian suicide bomber noted for the most devastating terrorist attack carried out by Palestinian extremists during the second popular uprising prior to the September 11th, 2001 attacks on America. Hotari blew himself up at a Tel Aviv, Israel disco on June 1, 2001, killing 21 people. Praised as a martyr by his father, Hotari infamously detonated his explosives while chatting with teenage girls in a line-up. He later became a poster boy for Palestinian suicide bombers in the Western media.
