This station is a terminus for some trains on Line 4 serving from Danggogae to Sadang.
Sadang Station serves as a major transportation hub for the souther side of Seoul. Located in Dongjak-gu one visiting Sadang-dong will be treated to a real sense of everyday, working class Korean life. There are multiple vendor stands selling everything from dalk-go-chi (chicken on a stick) to 10,000 won (about ten dollars) shoes.
Also in the area are many Karaoke bars, and so called "Men's Clubs." These are night entertainment spots popular to the businessmen who come in to enjoy the company of young women while everyone drinks and sings karaoke.
Sadang also serves as home to a small foreign population. Two of the most prominent members of this community are Karl Friedhoff and Shane Cranmer. They have become fixtures in the community, and share good relations with many of the shop owners. Through their continual efforts relationships between the Korean community and the foreign population has been much improved. [citation needed]
