This is a Reuters photo [1]. I am removing it from the Iraq page.

FYI, the statue was toppled at the request of the civialians who were trying to knock it over, and an army armoured vheicle or tank attached the cables to it and toppled it. I have forgoten the web page where the commander of that section of troops said that though.
