[edit] Welcome, Sachabrunel!
Hello Sachabrunel, welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
Before you start doing a lot of editing, you might want to take the Tutorial. It gives a lot of basic info you'll want to get you oriented on Wikipedia, and comes highly recommended.
Here're some handy links:
- Help:Contents is the list of all of the information you need to use Wikipedia. Wikipedia's Help desk is the best place to ask questions to which you can't find the answers. Also, a lot more good information is at Meta, which is often more up-to-date (as Meta is where information that pertains to all of the different Wikimedia projects, such as editing help, is stored and modified). Meta's Help section is located at m:Help:Contents, and more information about it can be found at Wikipedia:Meta and m:Meta:About.
- Wikipedia:How to edit a page gives editing help. Whenever you're editing a page, there'll be a link to it below the editing box and to the right of the "Save page" and "Preview" buttons, for easier access.
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style gives formatting information.
- Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines tell about the principles we operate on. It's important, but you don't need to read it all at once. Our five most important tenets are listed under Wikipedia:Five pillars, and there's an easier-to-read version of Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines at Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset. Our privacy policy is at Wikipedia:Privacy policy.
- Wikipedia:Show preview explains how to double-check your edits before saving, which is often an important feature.
Remember to sign your name on talk pages by typing " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp (which is generally preferred). The software will automatically convert this upon saving the page.
If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. I'll answer if I'm here. If you like, you can ask here, on your own talk page (for your own easier reference), but please let me know by posting a note on my talk page saying that you've replied.
Take care, and good wiki-ing, Blackcap (talk) 18:57, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Prematurely deceased entertainer categories
Hi. FYI, folks are trying again to delete the prematurely deceased entertainer categories at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 January 17#Entertainers who died.... I noticed you voted to save them in the past and thought you might want to know. :) —Wknight94 (talk) 00:14, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

- Hi. I'm afraid I really don't like the idea of canvassing for votes on people's talk pages, it seems to be clogging the deletion process up and threatening the future of wikipedia. --Sachabrunel 15:57, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for the cleanup on Prague. I also answered your question on Talk:Franz Kafka. Pavel Vozenilek 00:57, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Britpop
Hi, I see you're working on the Britpop articles. I've left a comment on the list deletion page (agreeing with you). Rgarding Robbie Williams' inclusion on the list, I did consider removing him but on balance I felt he probably belonged. I know he was the dancer from Take That and all that, but he did ride the wave of Britpop. I don't care for the fella myself but he's a stronger keep than ludicruous inclusions such as Neds Atomic Dustbin! What do you think? --kingboyk 20:37, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
I am affraid Jarvis Cocker explained in Live Forever documentary that he as most of the Britpop peers were taking cocaine like a cup of tee. I think that all famous bands during this time took much drugs, including Blur, Oasis and Pulp, so I certainly don't know why the hell not tell it, that Jarvis was having problems with drugs, which is obviously true. No edits for a while? I hope you'll be back soon. Just popped by to say good work on the Britpop list. --kingboyk 17:59, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
