Sacred Heart School of Halifax

The Sacred Heart School of Halifax is an independent Catholic day school in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada established in 1849. It is one of a number of international schools of the Society of the Sacred Heart. The headmistress is Patricia Donnelly. All of the students wear school uniforms. Sacred Heart has two campuses in central Halifax:

  • The girls' high school (grades 7-12, Pauline Scott principal) and co-ed elementary school (grades primary-7, Joy Carter principal) are located on Spring Garden Road.
  • The boys' high school (Robert Marchard principal) is on Inglis Street.

The separate high schools provide single-sex education.
