Saba Karim pronunciation (born November 14, 1967 in Patna) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper.
Karim has a long history with professional cricket, having started his career in 1982-83. His career best is a 234 in the 1990-91 Ranji Trophy, yet, until 1996 he wasn't picked for his national team. Even though his substitute, Nayan Mongia had a disastrous 1999 campaign for the World Cup, Karim was not picked, the selectors instead preferring Sameer Dighe and MSK Prasad.
Having played in one Test, Karim's averages vary considerably, as, with a singular Test innings (and thus average) of 15 runs, he averages over 56 in first-class cricket.
