SA Martinez

Douglas Vincent "SA" Martinez (born October 29, 1969 in Omaha, NE) is a DJ and vocalist of Latino descent; best known as a member of the band 311.

Martinez's nickname is a play on the Spanish slang term "ese", meaning "buddy" or "friend."

SA and drummer Chad Sexton were involved in a brawl with a drunken Scott Stapp of the band Creed on Thanksgiving 2005. However, neither Sexton or Martinez were held responsible for any wrongdoing in the brawl, as Stapp was intoxicated and belligerent.
