Account-cest is a portmanteau term that is used to describe a situation where several accounts appear to be shared, and a single user has had access to all of the accounts in question. This term was first used by Ryulong to describe a situation at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser where four accounts were all utilized by one user, all of which may have belonged to other members of his family.

The term was first used at a checkuser for Shakim67 who appeared to be utilizing the accounts of Can't Nobody Step To Me, Chrisbrownwifey06, and CertifiedGangsta on top of his own, all of which violated various Wikipedia policies, on and off Wikipedia, and tried to get the password to other accounts.

Account-cest can also extend to users who claim to be friends of other users, as being proven in the most current checkuser for IntheGhetto06 who originally claimed to be the friend of one of the other users named "Antonio" but then called himself "Shawn". In this case, account-cest is not to be confused with dissociative identity disorder or schizophrenia, however the source of the account-cest can be either of these two disorders.
