Ryosuke Takahashi

Ryosuke Takahashi (高橋良輔 Takahashi Ryōsuke?, born January 11, 1943) is a Japanese anime director, screenwriter, and producer. He is a graduate of Meiji University. He was also a part-time lecturer at the private Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts. In the world of anime he is famous for pioneering the real robots mecha genre with works like Fang of the Song Dougram, Armored Troopers Votoms, Blue Comet SPT Layzner, and others.
His latest original creation is Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto, which he created and directed.
