Ryan Charles Holt is a law student at the University of South Carolina, where he holds the Student government position of Vice President. Ryan Holt rose to internet fame by being featured in a popular viral video that can be seen on YouTube and was featured on VH1's television program Web Junk 20. In the video, Ryan Holt is a victim of a prank whereby his campus office is filled with balloons. He is famous, though, because of his reaction. After seeing the balloons, Ryan Holt throws, what this reporter describes as, a "hissy fit." Obscenities are spoken to his colleagues, and a famous line from the video is "Look at me being serious," a line which has gained entry into popular web culture as well as spawned a line of raging ryan merchandise.

After the video "went viral" and was seen around the world, Ryan Holt issued this public statement.
