Ryan Brown

Ryan Brown (born May 2, 1962) is an American comic book artist and childrens book illustrator best known for his work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Brown designed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure Farmer Michaelangelo for Playmates Toys. Some of the other TMNT characters he has created are Hothead, Scratch, Monty Moose, King Lionheart, Half Court, Wyrm, Scumbug, Leatherhead, Dr.El, Wingnut, Ray Fillet, Sand Storm, Mondo Gecko and Rock'n'Roll Mondo Gecko. He created the Mighty Mutanimals with writer Stephen Murphy. Murphy and Brown revamped the Archie TMNT Adventures title for Mirage Studios in the late 1980's. His character Motorhead appeared in an issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Magazine. Mirage Studios published Brown's comic book about giant mutant monster hot dogs in 1989. It is entitled Halloweiners.

Brown also created the ABC Saturday morning animated television series, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa.
