I provided the source of information that I use frequently for testing and tweaking my broadband connection. My edit is kind of crude, but it does let the user quickly find the information they are seeking. Hopefully, someone will come along and elaborate.
This article needs to be looked at by a networking guru, which I am not.
I am recommending that a link be created from Internet protocol suite to this stub, even if the link does not fit with this article. The reason being is, it was quite difficult to navigate to the Rwin article without seraching. For someone who is looking for information about how to tweak their TCP/IP settings but does not know to search for 'Rwin' etc. to learn more, they might be kind of lost. Either way, I tried to find the information and did find it after a while, but I already knew about rwin. I also created a redirect from Tcp receive window and TCP Receive Window to rwin because that was what I was using for my search term. I could only find rwin by using rwin as my search term.
Is there an article in Wikipedia which talks about tweaking the stack? TCP/IP Tweaks maybe? I have yet to find one. -- Found it finally, but it didn't have the information here. TCP tuning
