RV-7 Digital Reverb

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

RV-7 Digital Reverb is a simple reverberation device in Propellerhead's Reason. It has been included in the program since version 1. Room types include Hall, Large Hall, Hall 2, Large Room, Medium Room, Small Room, Gated, Low Density, Stereo Echoes, and Pan Room. The user can tweak the room size, decay time and damping. This first reverb unit has been considered by many users to have inferior sound quality and was expanded in version 2.5 into the RV7000 Reverb which is much more versatile and better sounding. However, this first reverb unit is still included, mostly to ensure songs made on older versions of Reason can still be loaded and worked on in version 3 and above.
