In chess, C61 is the ECO code for the Ruy Lopez, Bird's Defense chess opening. The game begins 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nd4. Black creates a diversion in the center at d4 and cramps White's development and mobility. Henry Bird himself played it as Black no less than 16 times with a +6=2-8. It's rarely played today but you'ld do best to study the games of the Czech master, Jiri Jirka, who has a +28=22-23 score on the Black side.
