Ruwan Kalpage (born February 19, 1970 in Kandy) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler.
Kalpage has frequently been a handier performer in limited overs cricket, where his skill in batting and bowling have made him a useful asset to any team. Unable to find a specific role in the Sri Lankan team his performances have been slightly more infrequent, as he has never found himself strong enough either as a batsman or a bowler to compete with the best players.
His off-spin, however, is useful to any captain's team, and he provides solid backup in the field.
