Rutt Bridges

Rutt Bridges is an American politician from Colorado and a member of the Democratic Party. He was running for Governor in 2006. He dropped out of the race on August 11, 2005 telling supporters "My passion has always been public policy, not politics."
In 2004 Bridges ran for U.S. Senate, but stepped aside and supported fellow Democrat and friend Ken Salazar, who went on to win the seat.
Bridges is a think-tank founder and venture capitalist.
