Rutland Weekend Films

Rutland Weekend Films is a small Rutland-based company that produces short films, scripts and comic videos.
One short comic film, Jellied Eels won the University of Lincoln Short Film Competition 2006.
The company was created by actor and film maker Tom Marshall after completion of a BTEC in Media (Moving Image). The company continues to make films whilst he is at the University of Lincoln studying Media Production.

The company name is a take on Rutland Weekend Television, a show created by the comedian Eric Idle which plays on the fact that Rutland is the smallest UK county.
