The Rutherford GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Bradford line train service. This station was opened on January, 2001 to accommodate the growing ridership on the Bradford Line along with the growing communities surrounding Rutherford GO Station. Another reason for the station's presence was due to Maple GO Station's parking congestion prior to Rutherford station's opening.
Rutherford GO Station is just one of the two stations, the other being East Gwillimbury; to feature an in station bus loop on the Bradford rail line. This feature offers easy and seamless connections with local transit. Until December, 2003; Rutherford GO Station didn't offer accessible train services due to the absence of the mini-platform; even though GO has stated that every new station that is built since Aldershot will have the mini-platform for easier access. Like many other GO Stations, Rutherford station offers a full length platform, accommodating ten Bombardier BiLevel Coaches and a locomotive.
