Ruth Langsford

Ruth Langsford is a British television presenter.
She began her career as a continuity announcer and newscaster with ITV regional station TSW in the South West of England. She left TSW when Westcountry Television took over the franchise at the end of 1992, even closing down the station with fellow announcer, the late Ian Sterling.
Since then she has presented such programmes as Loose Women, Langsford Late and The Really Useful Show. Since 2000 she has been a guest presenter on This Morning, on which she appears every Friday.
In March 2002 she had a child, "Jack Alex", with her partner, fellow television presenter Eamonn Holmes.
