[edit] The Apprentice
Prior to appearing on The Apprentice, she worked as a senior management executive. Badger has seven GCSEs (although she contradicted this in week 11, where she stated that her and Michelle had 5 GCSEs between them) and was previously employed as a sales manager. It is claimed that she is a lesbian and is in the process of divorcing her husband. [6] It has also been revealed that Ruth has had more internet search hits than Michelle Dewberry.[7]
[edit] Post-Apprentice
Badger has been nominated for a National Television Award. She was up against fellow "The Apprentice" candidate Syed Ahmed and Big Brother housemate Nikki Grahame and others. She failed to make it through to stage 2 of the online voting. The award was eventually won by Nikki. [8] Ruth has appeared on episodes of Big Brother's Little Brother[9] and 8 Out Of 10 Cats[10] Ruth currently travels and gives talks about her experiences, in a talk at Leeds, she claimed she had only 3 GCSEs, an E in english, a C in RE, and an E in maths, yet she still 'blagged' her way into sixth form. She also claimed Sir Alan Sugar has offered her 3 contracts. Although it is possible she was not telling the truth in order to inspire the children.
