[edit] Uniform style

I have changed this template to look like {{Dream Theater}} (which was based on the original {{Rush}}) and {{IronMaiden}}, so that we have some uniformity among the similar templates. It might be a good idea to come up with an actual standard for use on other band articles, assuming they require a similar template. Thoughts? plattopustalk 02:17, August 31, 2005 (UTC)

Love it! Genius, as always. Deckiller 15:05, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Include songs?

This thread will serve as a discussion. Should we maintain a "Rush songs" section on the template, or just keep them in a category and link them when appropriate?

I agree that if too many Song articles are started, it may get cluttered. We might even be able to merge some of the song articles either I or other people have created. That's something to consider in the future. Deckiller 23:54, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to have songs on the template seeing as though people would edit it replacing them with their favourite songs and over time it would get cluttered.
Maybe we could, like on the Pink Floyd and Kiss articles, have a separate discography page listing all Rush's albums and songs on it and also in the blurb on the top mention Rush's most popular songs (or something along those lines)? ( Davehard 10:34, 11 December 2005 (UTC) )
Yes, let's keep songs out of the template. I have experienced something similar when editing the articles on individual types of aircraft...everyone adds a photo of that aircraft as operated by their pet airline. Eventually, we just separated them all to separate pages. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 14:23, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, I only put songs on that list that had articles made. Perhaps what we can do is, eventually when all of Rush's "singles" have articles, we can put that under a "Rush singles" category. We also have the song articles linked from their respective article pages in addition to the Category:Rush Songs. Maybe we can list those songs under "See Also" just to make sure that people know 100 percent that those articles are there. Deckiller 23:35, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
