Rusty Nails is a director, actor, writer, and producer. He is involved in the film community in Chicago, Illinois. His feature films include Acne (2005) and Highway Robbery. His short films include; Grethel & Hansel, The Ramones and I, Blood Drinkers, and Three. He has made music videos for The Locust, Erase Errata, Tilt, Arab on Radar, The Goblins, and coming soon, Scream Club. He also organized the Movieside Film Festival which has brought such notable directors as Guy Maddin, George A. Romero, Jim Jarmusch, and John Waters to Chicago. He also has published and photographed for a number publications such as; Bridge Magazine, Venus, Newcity, and Supersphere.com. His related projects are organized under the banner company, New Eye Films.

Rusty is currently working on a documentary about horror film pioneer, George A. Romero called Dead On:The Life and Cinema of George A. Romero.
