Rusty Coathangers For The Doctor is the title of an alleged tape of early demo recordings by the then-unnamed avant garde group, The Residents. Unlike the later demo albums Baby Sex and The Warner Bros. Album, this has never been released in any form.
An online poster identifying themself as Cryptic on an electrical audio online forum in January 2006 claimed to have the original tape and was asking for assistance or advice on fixing the tape. The claims made by the poster has been discredited recently (September 2006) by a member of The Cryptic Corporation , Rusty Coathangers has not been removed from the Residents' archive and entrusted to this person or any other person.
