Russian Imperial Union Order

The Russian Imperial Union Order (Russkiy Imperskiy Soyuz Orden, Русский Имперский Союз - Орден, РИС-О) is a right wing Russian monarchist organization that was started in 1929 by white emigres living abroad. The organization bases itself around autocratic principles, and is openly anti-masonic.
Initially friendly with other white emigre organizations such as the NTS, and ROVS, the organization began distancing itself from collaborative contact. Members of the Order are known as "impertsi" in Russian.
The organization eventually split into two halves, one supporting the descendants of the Romanoff family, the other adopting a more neutral policy of being "unpredecided" ("nepredreshenchestvo").
