Russell Patterson

Russell Patterson was a cartoonist whose accomplishments included work on the Montreal Gazette. He received the National Cartoonist Society Advertising and Illustration Award for 1957, and the Elzie Segar Award in 1974.

He created the cartoon mamie that appeared in the New York times. Also disigned the fassion of the 30's know as flapper
