Russell Fairfax

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Russell Fairfax was a rugby player during the 1960s and 1970s. He played rugby union for Australia before switching to rival code, rugby league, in the early 1970's where he was an instant sensation with unorthodox play in one of the great teams of all time, Eastern Suburbs (now known as the Sydney Roosters).

In later years, Fairfax played with the South Sydney Rabbitohs but is best remembered in the Roosters days, and for his long blonde hair.

He has now gone on to a career in sports journalism with Fox Sports. He is married with two children.
