Russell A. Anderson (born May 28, 1942 in Bemidji, Minnesota) is currently the Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. He served as Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from September 1, 1998 until he was sworn in as Chief Justice on January 10, 2006. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College (1964) and the University of Minnesota Law School (1968).
