Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. 400 East 34th Street, New York, NY 10016. Part of New York University Medical Center. Operated under the auspices of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of New York University School of Medicine. Named for its founder, Dr. Howard A. Rusk (1901-1989), the Rusk Institute is the largest university-affiliated center devoted entirely to inpatient/outpatient care, research and training in rehabilitation medicine.
