"Rush" is the first official single by pop sisters Aly & AJ, from their album Into the Rush. It was released with a Disney Channel Original Movie called Twitches. wowowowow

There are two different versions of the video. The first version, released by Disney only, included scenes from Aly & AJ's first concert and scenes from Twitches. It was directed by award-winning director Marc Webb. The second version premiered February 15, 2006. It has the sisters playing their guitars and hanging out with their friends.

"Rush" is Aly & AJ's first single to chart in the US. It has charted the most times (3). When it was first released in 2005, it charted 2 times, on the Billboard's own Pop 100 and Hot Digital Songs. Later in 2006, it finally charted in what is considered to be the best chart to peak on in the U.S., the Billboard's Hot 100. The second version of the music video also had successful charting, peaking at #11 in Yahoo!'s music video launch cast top 100 music videos. It also has charted in Total Request Live (TRL) on MTV at #6. Possibly the success of the teenagers' songs will boost their popularity in their music career. Thanks to the success of the single, Aly & AJ got to perform "Rush" live on DirecTV's original series, CD USA, on March 4, 2006.
The song has been used in commercials for the Women's National Basketball Association during its 2006 season.
