From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, is a regional, four-year comprehensive public high school and school district, serving students in grades 9 through 12 from the suburban Monmouth County, New Jersey, communities of Fair Haven (389 students) and Rumson (435 students), which are situated on a peninsula in northern Monmouth County bounded by the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers and the Atlantic Ocean.
Rumson-Fair Haven High School receives students from two middle schools, Forrestdale Middle School in Rumson and Knollwood School in Fair Haven, as well as from private schools, including Rumson Country Day School and Holy Cross School.
The high school had an enrollment of 949 students in the 2005-06 school year, with a projection of 20-30 additional students enrolling in each of the next three years above current levels.
The facility, constructed by the Works Progress Administration in 1936, is located in Rumson. Since its original construction, the school facility has had three significant additions, each one adhering, to a large extent, to the original architectural integrity. The school has been well maintained and modernization and renovations have kept pace with the times.
The school's major rival is Shore Regional High School.
